Hey Ho ! Holly - The Retriever

Wag wag goes my very hairy tail. Hey ho I’m Holly, a long-haired retriever who was a friend of Rosebud’s (she was amazing!). Although I’m quite old now I’ve always been relaxed and quiet, even as a hairy puppy. I really enjoy just relaxing but also sometimes like having a game of ball or playing with my toy duck, nothing too strenuous though. I need quite a bit of attention as my coat gets wet and can smell unless I am kept clean! However, I’m very friendly and I’m an ideal pet for children, especially as I don’t pull when taken for a walk on a lead. My coat is also very good for snuggling into!!

Lulu's updates

Here are a few new snapshots of Lulu. I have tried my best to snap her photographs, and well, as expected, it is hard. She was running freely at the backyard of the house, under the sunny bright sun. The backyard is always a nice place for her to exercise but we have to beware that she becomes naughty occasionally and starts digging the flower pots and damaging those lovely flowers and plants.

The King of Toy

I have not been updating about my min pin - Lulu lately. Yes, I know ....I know but this does not mean that I have neglected my dog! She grows slightly taller and bigger after eating all the canned food for one month. I just found a very interesting video clip about Miniature Pinscher from the Internet, however, I can't link it to my blog. *frown* so I think I have to try recording my own video this weekend or take some latest photographs of my min pin.

The local pet shop that I visit frequently hasn't got many choices of canned food. Obeying the veterinarian's advice, every time I visit the pet shop, I will look for canned food with a label '100% complete and balanced diet'. Finally, I settle for this (picture below):

FEED RITE is an Australian brand and it is the ONLY ONE with a "100% complete and balanced diet" label that I can find in the pet shop (and quite economical). Hopefully, the pet shop will have more choices in the future.

Hi I'm Bicky, formerly known as Biscuit. I must have gotten my name because of my cute eye patch.

When you meet me the first time, you'd be frightened by my loud and fierce bark, plus my long and deep growl. However, I'm actually a scaredy dog. I get freaked out by trucks, loud noises and any unfamiliar objects. My papa and mama have tried giving me more exposure to overcome my fearfulness, but I'm still as timid as ever! They love me very much, coz I'm really sweet and loving. I'm a very good girl, when I want to be. And when I'm naughty, I'm still very cute! Look at my pic, ain't I adorable? I love my papa and mama very much, they are everything to me.

I never thought I wanted a dog at home. Then one morning in February 2012, I came across this white female dog for adoption, and suddenly felt I must have her. That same afternoon, I got her. She was two, with a family who couldn't spend much time with her as most of the family members had asthma. What breed is she? No one knows for sure, but her temperament and appearance show she's probably a Spitz mix.

She's not only brought much joy to my life, my compassion towards homeless cats and dogs have increased ever since. My dog was born unwanted, and if not for the family who adopted her, she may have ended up a stray too, no loving home, regular meals, vulnerably exposed to various threats.

She's very special to me, and I will do my best to ensure she's a happy dog!
